General info on Field Practicum in ENVH
Please don't hesitate to start looking for field practicum experiences soon. There are plenty of opportunities available. Some good starting points are the highly acclaimed ASPH programs:
Kern County Field Practicum
Kern County field Practicum opportunities for ENVH majors are available through Seth Wiafe here at the school. There is plenty of spatial data to work with. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to have a field practicum in GIS.
Internship in the Coachella Valley
For those ENVH students who are interested in working with agricultural communities in the Coachella Valley, please contact Johanny Valladares (jbrito@llu.edu) or myself for information on four possible field practicum internships.
The internships will be to deliver environmental health curriculum to kids and families. There is lots of room for interaction with people.
