Dissertation funding

Environmental Economics (EPA) The Environmental Protection Agency's National Center for Environmental Economics is soliciting proposals for 1) Environmental Economics Workshops and for 2) Dissertation and Early Career Research on the Pollution Control Aspects of Environmental Economics. Under Area 1 NCEE is seeking proposals for workshops in three categories: Dissertation Workshops; Methods Development and Training Workshops; and Current Issues Workshops. Under Area 2 one of the principal investigators must be either a currently-enrolled Ph.D. student or have received their Ph.D. no earlier than January 1, 2006. If the investigator is a Ph.D. student, the data must be used for his or her dissertation research. NCEE expects to make 5-7 awards for a total of $400,000.
