National Data Policy Institute (Association for Institutional Research)

The Association for Institutional Research offers fellowships to support attendance at the National Data Policy Institute, June 20-26, 2010 in Bethesda, MD, to study the national databases of the National Center for Educational Statistics and the National Science Foundation. Fellowships cover round-trip transportation to Washington, DC, hotel accommodations, a per diem reimbursement for meals and incidental expenses for the duration of the institute, and a 1-year AIR membership. The institute includes formal and hands-on instruction on: 1) review of national study design and database contents; 2) training in analysis of national postsecondary education data, and intensive work on the national databases using the new Web-based data analysis systems developed by NCES and NSF; and 3) policy seminars with leading national policy researchers.
